Making it happen
Realising our vision for Thornhill House at the Grange comes at a significant cost, but is one we know is worth it for the benefit of future generations. With a total cost of almost £5.4 million, we need to raise £2 million from philanthropic sources. We’ll be keeping the local community up to date on our fundraising progress over the coming months.
Help us to amplify the ‘Molly effect’
The impetus to create Thornhill House came from a heartfelt idea, hard work and the generosity of local people. Taking this jewel of a place into its next stage of evolution will very much depend on how far we can amplify the ‘Molly effect’ of 30 years ago.
You can help us by joining a new generation of philanthropists at The Grange; supporters who believe in high quality care that’s rooted in the community it serves. There are different ways you can give to the project, whether through a one-off donation, pledging a tax effective gift over time or remembering us in your Will. There are also several opportunities for donating in memory of a loved one, dedicating your gift to a specific area of work, or naming parts of the new building.
Molly’s original idea for Thornhill House was both powerful and timely. Today, we have an opportunity to reinvigorate her instinct for what was right and be part of an outstanding model of care for older people. We would love you to join us in making that happen.
