We are seeking an experienced Registered Care Home Manager to lead Thornhill House and ensure the provision of high quality, person-centred care for older people. With plans to relocate and expand to a 26-bed facility offering a wider range of services, this role gives the successful candidate a valuable opportunity to help shape the future growth and direction of the home.

Lead, support, and supervise care staff, providing clear guidance, training, and ongoing development.
-
Manage staffing levels, rotas, and resources to ensure safe and efficient service delivery.
-
Ensure safe and accurate medication management in line with legal and organisational requirements.
-
Work closely with families, GPs, community teams, and other professionals to provide joined-up care.
About You
-
You hold a Registered Nurse qualification, and ideally a qualification in care management.
-
You have experience as a Registered Manager or in a senior leadership role within a residential care setting.
-
You have a caring and compassionate approach, balanced with clear leadership.
-
You have a strong understanding of care of older people including dementia.
-
You are organised, proactive, and confident in managing a care home.
-
You have excellent communication skills and can build trusting relationships with residents, families, and staff.
-
You lead by example and know how to motivate and support a team.
